How's it work?

Our word finder tool searches our extensive database of words to instantly return results that match your search requirements. Using clever letter placement algorithms, our tool can even handle wildcards or blanks which will match any letter, handy for word games that have blank tiles such as Scrabble.

Step-by-step Guide:

1. Enter your letters: Start by typing the letters that you have available, for instance with Scrabble and other similar games, you can enter all the 7 letters you have on your tile rack, if you have a blank tile, you can enter "_" to represent that.
2. Browse the returned results: After entering the letters, hit that "Search" button to instantly return all the words that have matched. The returned results will include all words that can be made with your letters. 
   For example, if your letters are "GARDENO", you might be thinking the best word you can make is GARDEN, but our tool will return "GROANED" gaining you 9 points instead of 8, plus a 50 point Scrabble bonus for using all 7 letters! Amazing huh?
3. Filter your results: Our results page will list every possible word you can make, but we've made it a little easier for you and listed the top 20 scroring words. But that's not all, we've also give you filters, so if you want to try and include a letter from the board, you can filter by 8 letters to try and match up a letter.
   You can also filter by different games which have different point scoring, and even different dictionaries/regions. 
4. Get more info: Confused about a word, or a component questioning your word choice? No worries, click on the word to get the definition, usage, synonyms, antonyms, phonetics, rhymes, example sentences and more. Anything related to a word, we've got it sorted! Think we can offer more? Tell us.
